About Dr. Peveto
Dr. Peveto is a Dallas area native, born and raised in Irving, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, graduating magna cum laude. She returned to the DFW metroplex and received her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. After graduation, she ventured across town for her residency physician training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the faculty for the obstetrics and gynecology residency training program at Baylor University Medical Center and an assistant Clinical Professor for Texas A&M University Medical School, and is dedicated to physician education. She has accrued many accomplishments and awards throughout her medical school and residency training. She is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the Southwest Gynecology Assembly, Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, and American Medical Association.
Dr. Peveto is passionate about women’s health throughout all phases of a patient’s life, from puberty to menopause. She is a skilled minimally invasive surgeon, both in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She is proficient in many procedures, including in-office procedures such as endometrial ablations, permanent sterilization, and management of abnormal pap smears. Her surgical skill includes hysterectomy, advanced laparoscopy, and vaginal surgery. She has a passion for patient education, and enjoys treating patients’ gynecological needs, from contraception counseling and management to well-women exams and basic infertility. She enjoys caring for pregnant patients, and is excited to manage both uncomplicated and high-risk pregnancies. In her spare time, she is an avid reader and sports fan, and loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, large extended family and friends.
